Bio:
Hi, my name is Jan, I am married to my wife Lil and have two sons, Mark and Greg. I live in North Carolina, have been here since 1996 and moved here from Maine, where we lived for eleven years. We moved here because my wife got a job here with Sara Lee, but now works for National Textiles. I am a retired auto tech, had to retire because of emphysema. I enjoy playing with computers and love street rods. When we lived in Maine I had a "34" Ford 2dr sedan that I was going to make a street rod out of, a friend had the exact same car "sister cars" that I worked on, and Dave ( the friend) would get parts for both cars. I didn't get a chance to finish his car and had to sell mine when we moved, broke both our hearts. Dave did finish his and did a fantastic job. This summer (2000) we went to visit in Maine and I got to drive Daves car, thanks Dave, meant alot to me.
October 21, 2000 I got a "36" DeSoto to follow me home, another big project that I hope I'll be able to do.
